The Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA) held its annual business meeting Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Hilton Orlando, where new officers and board of director members were elected.
Even-numbered districts held elections for their director seats and two of the At-Large seats were open for self-nomination in 2014. Elections were held at the business meeting for Secretary-Treasurer and the At-Large seats.
The officers and board of directors for 2014-15 are:
President – Jill Silverboard, assistant city manager, city of Clearwater
President-elect – Michael Pleus, city manager, city of DeLand
Secretary-Treasurer – Robert (Bobby) Green, city manager, city of Auburndale
Past President – Russ Blackburn, city manager, city of Gainesville
District Directors:
I Elmon ‘Lee’ Garner, city manager, city of Chattahoochee (second year of two-year term)
II Sally A. Sherman, deputy county administrator, Flagler County
III Beth Anne Knight, deputy county manager, Osceola County (second year of two-year term)
IV George S. Brown, deputy city manager, city of Boca Raton
V Yocelyn Galiano, village manager, village of Pinecrest (second year of two-year term)
VI Roger Reinke, deputy city manager, city of Naples
VII Micah Maxwell, town manager, town of Belleair (filling vacancy)
VIII Ryan Leavengood, city manager, city of Lake Alfred
