About FCCMA

The Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA) is a professional organization of practicing public administrators from throughout Florida local governments. The Association was chartered in 1946 as a non-profit corporation to elevate professionalism among the state’s 478 cities and counties, and to promote the council-manager form of government as the form that advances the highest ethical and professional standards.

Mission

To support practitioners of local government and the cities and counties they serve in Florida through innovation, best practices and a strong code of ethics.

Ethics

All FCCMA members are required to complete four hours of ethics training annually. Members support and uphold the ICMA Code of Ethics.

Professional Management Matters (PMM)

PMM is an FCCMA program with the purpose of highlighting the benefits of the council-manager form of government and to highlight the examples of collaboration between professional managers and elected officials in Florida.
