Florida was well represented at the 2013 ICMA Annual Conference in Boston. Several FCCMA members spoke at the various sessions.
FCCMA members who participated were: Amy Davis, Manager, Office of Management and Budget, Largo; Howard Tipton, Brevard County Manager; Colin Baenziger, Principal, Colin Baenziger & Associates; Faye Outlaw, St. Lucie County Administrator; Peter Elwell, Palm Beach Town Manager; Norton Bonaparte, Sanford City Manager (He was involved in two different sessions); and Kathleen Margoles, Oakland Park Special Projects Coordinator. Also participating from Florida: Francine Ramaglia, Wellington Assistant Village Manager; Jonathan Allen, Lauderdale Lakes City Manager; Eitan Esan, Michael Munger and Matthew Randall, ICMA Management Fellows in Wellington.
Eighty-five members, spouses and guests attended the FCCMA dinner at the Union Oyster House. It was the largest number FCCMA has ever hosted. FCCMA received many compliments.
The 2014 ICMA conference will be held in Charlotte, NC, September 14-17.
