Lyle Sumek and Associates, Inc. is a consulting organization that specializes in team building, strategic planning, and goal setting for local governments. In this FCCMA on-site training session, Lyle Sumek will discuss meaningful strategic planning processes that Florida local governments can undertake and engage participants to define “practical” approaches to utilizing these processes. For those managers and department heads who are planning some form of strategic planning as part of their 2013-14 budget cycle, this session will provide alternative approaches to “how to proceed” and offer an opportunity to seek ideas from other practitioners in attendance.
