On August 8, 2018, FCCMA Member Sharon Ragoonan, Assistant Town Manager, Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, presented the City of Doral with the ICMA Recognition Award in celebration of their 15th Year as a Mayor-Council-Manager form of government.
The FCCMA-PMM (Professional Management Matters) Committee begins recognition at 25 years. When the City of Doral reached out to be a part of their 15th Anniversary Celebration, the PMM agreed that fulfilling the request was not only in alignment with the objective of their mission – to promote professional management in local government – but also provide them with the opportunity to spread our message to a broader audience, when requested. The PMM will continue to recognize communities that have reached their 25th Anniversary, and support the requests from colleagues who want to showcase the strengths of FCCMA.
Thanks to Doral City Manager, Edward Rojas, for this opportunity to promote our mission and to Communications Manager, Maggie Santos, for her assistance.
