There are still six onsite training sessions remaining in this program year.
FCCMA will hold two onsite training sessions on “CCNA and the Legal Requirements for Purchasing Services in Florida.” The first session will be held at the Ironwood Golf Course Clubhouse in Gainesville on February 20. The second session will be held at the St. Petersburg Water Resource Building on March 27. Both sessions will be held from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. This session will cover ICMA Practice Area 5: Performance Measurement/Management and Quality Assurance.
FCCMA will hold a third onsite training session on “Retirement Options for Managers and their Agencies.” It will be held at the Lake David Center, 450 South Lake Avenue in Groveland on February 26 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. This session will cover ICMA Practice Areas 3, 10, 11 and 18: Functional and Operational Expertise and Planning, Budgeting, Financial Analysis and Personal Development.
FCCMA will hold a fourth onsite training session on “Social Media for Florida Local Government Managers.” It will be held at the City of Aventura Community Center, 3375 N.E. 188 Street in Aventura on March 20 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. This session will cover ICMA Practice Areas 7: Technological Literacy.
FCCMA will also hold two onsite training sessions on ethics. The first session will be held at the Palm Beach Gardens EEOC Training Facility, 10500 N. Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens on February 27 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. The second session will be held at the Florida League of Cities Building, 1st Floor in Sittig Hall, 301 S. Bronough Street in Tallahassee on March 13 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
