Mayor Bob Dixson, Chair of EPA’s Local Government Advisory Committee (LGAC) has extended an invitation to the FCCMA members to attend the LGAC’s Protecting America’s Waters Workgroup’s meeting. The meeting will be held at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Building, located at 77 Forsyth Street, SW, Atlanta, GA on July 10, 2014 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Your input as a local official assists the Committee in providing valuable advice and recommendations to Administrator Gina McCarthy that thoughtfully and comprehensively considers the impacts on the proposed rule to clarify Waters of the U.S. that are subject to the Clean Water Act on local governments. The committee welcomes your participation to strengthen the participation and voice in federal decision-making that affects your communities.

If making comments, the Committee requests that your comments be no longer than five minutes. However, you may submit in writing any additional statements for the meeting record.
