Each year, the Florida League of Cities (FLC) recognizes local government officials who consistently respond to the League’s request to reach out to members of the Legislature and help give a local perspective to an issue. The League presents these individuals with the Home Town Hero Award.
This year the FLC recognized Lee Feldman, Fort Lauderdale City Manager; Marvin Collins, Fort Myers Assistant City Manager; Michael Beedie, Fort Walton Beach City Manager; Greg Mims, Indian Rocks Beach City Manager; and Bill Moss, Naples City Manager.
