The Legislative Committee is responsible for raising the profile of FCCMA as an advocate for appointed professional local government managers.
The committee monitors legislation and develops position papers when needed. The committee also is responsible for planning the legislative session at the annual conference.
The committee will also pick a day prior to session that the members of the committee come to Tallahassee to meet with legislative staff to establish/enhance relationships.
