The Great Recession is behind us…but the demand for services and the challenges to responsibly fund these services has never been greater. The terms “outsourcing” and “consolidating” create both positive and negative images, depending on one’s experience. This FCCMA training session will examine both terms from a “practical” perspective. Session attendees will hear lessons learned from local government professionals and will be asked to share their experiences with others in attendance. This is a very timely session with budget preparation just getting underway in many agencies and it is a must attend session for anyone considering consolidating or outsourcing a service in the future.
