This is the third article in a series of articles about the FCCMA committees. Be a part of the great work that FCCMA does through its committees by signing up for a committee that interests you. Most committee work is done via conference call.
The Conference Planning and Winter Institute Committee is responsible for planning the annual conference and the Winter Institute.
If you are interested in planning the two main FCCMA training events, then this committee is for you. This committee is a one-year commitment. Starting this summer, the committee will begin to plan the conference program. Sessions, keynote speakers and the conference social events must be planned by mid-November as registration begins in mid-February for the conference.
In January, information is sent to potential corporate participants soliciting interest in participating in a public/private session. The committee reviews and selects the corporate sessions from the applications received.
The committee is also responsible for planning the Winter Institute program. Planning for the winter institute needs to be completed by the first of September so that registration can begin with the new fiscal year.
If you are interested in being a part of planning either the conference or the Winter Institute, go to: https://fccma.org/conference-planning-and-winter-institute-committee/ and sign up for this committee. You can also see the other committees that FCCMA has available.
