The Communications Committee is responsible for monitoring the website and advising the staff on any needed changes.
FCCMA publishes a weekly newsletter. In each newsletter, a member is featured. Committee members will be responsible for contacting members and writing member articles for the newsletter.
Florida’s elected officials contact FCCMA staff to ask for sample manager evaluations. This committee will develop a sample manager/administrator evaluations that staff can send on request to cities.
FCCMA developed an ethics policy this past November. Each fiscal year members will be required to take four hours of ethics training which can be done in various ways. This committee is responsible for educating the membership on this requirement.
The committee has been tasked with examining on-line advertising. Does FCCMA want to allow advertising on the website? If the committee determines that advertising will be allowed, the committee will need to develop a policy.
Three new members are needed to complete this committee for a two-year term expiring in 2016.
