Rod Kendig, former FCCMA member and past president, passed away on Friday, January 31 after a two-year battle with cancer. He joined the Association in 1978 while serving as Escambia County Administrator. He served as county administrator for 16 years until 1985.
In 1985 after serving sixteen years as county administrator, he served the City of Pensacola as city manager. From 1991-1992 he served as FCCMA president.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6 at 3:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Pensacola.
