Upon the resignation of Rich Reade, District IV Director, the decision was made to accelerate the election process to fill the seat rather than have a board appointment to fill the seat. District IV was scheduled to elect a new director to the office in May. George Brown, Boca Raton Deputy City Manager, was elected as the new district IV director to complete the term and begin a new two-year term to expire May 2016.
