Ryan Leavengood, Lake Alfred City Manager, has been appointed by the Board of Directors to serve as the District VIII Director to finish the unexpired term previously held by Andy Stewart. Mr. Stewart moved out of the district to assume a new position.
Ryan received the B. Harold Farmer Scholarship in 2007 and then joined the Association in 2009 when he was Assistant to the City Manager in Auburndale. Over the years, Ryan has served on both the Awards Committee and the Membership Committee. He is currently chair of the Polk County Manager’s Group.
