An onsite training session will be held October 31, 2014 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Flagler County Emergency Services, 1769 E. Moody Boulevard, Building #3 in Bunnell. The cost is $49 which includes lunch.
There are two sessions titled: It Takes 4 to Tango and Bridging the Gap. Candy Whirley, an international speaker, author and former NFL cheerleader known for leading and cheering audiences to live and work better together will be the speaker.
Session 1 – It Takes 4 to Tango – Candy will take you through a brilliant exploration of behavioral styles that will make you think, laugh, even dance…and recognize your true self and others. You will also learn to overcome personality differences that lead to problems like communication breakdown, negotiation letdown, and delegation fall-down by learning the secrets to connecting and partnering with other personality styles.
Session 2 – Bridging the Gap – You will learn the differences between generations X, Y, Boomers, and Matures, and their work habits and goals. Candy will also share her knowledge of gender differences in order to help participants understand that there is truly a difference in communication and conflict management. Those who have experienced Candy, know this presentation would not be the same without one of her famous activities! Put on your hardhats, you will be building a BRIDGE!
This training will cover ICMA Practice Areas 12 and 18: Human Resource Management and Personal Development.
