The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) invite all financial institutions and community based organizations in North and Central Florida to a one-day forum on the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and community and economic development opportunities.
Financial institutions (senior management, bank compliance and CRA staff), nonprofit organizations, community and economic development professionals, CDFIs, intermediaries and other service providers are invited to attend.
This forum will include opportunities for networking and joint learning on specialized topics for bankers and community organizations. Sessions will include CRA and economic updates and two break-out sessions: one for financial institutions and the other for community based organizations. A joint session in the afternoon will highlight case studies and real-life CRA scenarios that emphasize best practices and collaborative efforts between banks and community based organizations to meet community needs. Attendees will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions of CRA experts.
This event is free but limited to the first 75 registrants. Registration must be completed by Tuesday, June 11, 2013. To register, click here or go to http://www.fdic.gov/news/conferences/index.html.
