Most of Florida’s cities and counties have been through six to seven years of cuts, furloughs, lay-offs and more. The mood toward local government from the state has not been positive. Government is not beloved across the country; in fact, opinions of government in general are at an all-time low. Now you tell me I’m supposed to love my community? Easier said than done!
