The FCCMA Professional Development Committee has planned the fall symposium, “The Challenge of Providing Services for the Next Five Years.” You have a choice of attending the symposium on November 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Port Orange Lakeside Pavilion or on November 30 at the Sarasota Hyatt. The November 30 symposium is in conjunction with the Florida Association of Counties Legislative Conference; and if you are attending FAC’s conference, you may attend the November 30 symposium for free. All others pay $50, students $25 to attend, which includes lunch. The program is the same at both symposiums, so choose the one closest to you. FCCMA thanks Dr. Bob Lee, Executive Director of the Center for Florida Local Government Excellence (CFLGE) for his assistance to the Committee in planning these events.
