Are you a public administration student or an entry-level city or county management professional? Are you interested in attending the FCCMA Annual Conference? Then this scholarship may be for you.
The FCCMA Annual Conference Emerging Leaders Scholarship is designed to allow public administration students and entry-level city and county management professionals interested in continuing their academic and professional development as professional public managers to attend the annual conference. The scholarship is awarded to individuals once per lifetime.
The scholarship includes complimentary registration to the annual conference and hotel room, and a one-year complimentary membership to the Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA). Scholarship recipients are responsible for their own travel and food. Recipients will be honored and recognized at the Career Development Luncheon and the annual Awards Luncheon.
Scholarships will be awarded to public administration students and entry-level professionals (budget analysts, management analysts, interns and assistants) on the basis of commitment to city/county management, career goals, affiliation to FCCMA, and financial need based on either salary or the organization’s ability to support the cost to attend the Annual Conference.
